This special episode will air just ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026, to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Legendary figures from Japanese football will appear on the program: Shunsuke Nakamura will demonstrate dribbling and free kicks, Yoichiro Kakitani will showcase trapping techniques, and Yuji Nakazawa will reveal masterful defensive skills. Football journalist Tetsuo Nakanishi will also introduce “the secrets of body control for football players,” a concept that connects with the principles of martial arts.
From the world of martial arts, masters of classical swordsmanship, tai chi, and karate will also gather. Through the lens of martial arts, the program will explore the secrets behind the extraordinary techniques of top players, offering a new way to enjoy both the World Cup and the game of football in this 45-minute special.
