In celebration of the 140th anniversary of Jun’ichirō Tanizaki’s birth in 2026, a feature film project titled “TANIZAKI Reimagined” has been announced.

As part of this initiative, the film “JOTARO” (based on Tanizaki’s short story “Jōtarō”) will be released on Friday, May 15, at Cinem@rt Shinjuku, Ikebukuro Cinema Rosa, and other theaters nationwide.
